Greg Beck represents a wide range of clients in civil and business litigation. He handles business transactions and civil litigation for political subdivisions, employers, insurance companies, and private individuals. His practice also focuses in the area of police liability and civil rights litigation for cities, townships, employers, and political subdivisions. In addition, Greg represents clients throughout Ohio in commercial and business-related litigation involving ownership disputes, sales and acquisitions. Greg also helped develop the firm’s probate and estate planning practices.
A skilled trial lawyer, Greg is well-known and respected in the Ohio legal community as honest and respectful of colleagues, judges, and the judicial process. Greg believes good lawyers can solve any problem, so he strives to be part of the solution rather than an impediment.
Born in Akron, Ohio, Greg was admitted to the bar in 1981. He is a 1978 graduate, with honors, of Virginia Military Institute, and a 1981 graduate of the University of Akron School of Law. He is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Federal Bar and the American Bar Association. Greg is AV rated through Martindale- Hubbell and has been selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer in Business Litigation since 2009.
When not working as an attorney, Greg enjoys being with family. While always interested in physical fitness, Greg follows a different path through yoga. Greg also remains an active martial artist, receiving his first black belt in Ju Jitsu in 1984. For the last thirty years he has studied Chinese Boxing with teachers all over the world. Greg is certified to teach several Chinese martial systems including Wing Chun, but in the last twenty years he has concentrated on Chen Tai Chi and is a certified Chen Tai Chi instructor by the Chinese Boxing Institute International.
