Brittany Bowland

Brittany Bowland was born in Akron, Ohio and grew up in Brimfield Township. She attended Kent State University and graduated with honors (summa cum laude) with a degree in Criminology and Justice Studies. Upon graduation from Kent State, Brittany attended the University of Akron School of Law.

While at the law school Brittany revived the defunct student chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, an organization dedicated to the advancement of animal protection laws. Brittany served as the President of the Akron Law Chapter of the ALDF all three years of her law school career. In addition to her efforts with the ALDF, Brittany earned a CALI Excellence Award for the highest grade in Health Law and was named as an Outstanding Oral Advocate for her semester of Legal Analysis Research and Writing. Brittany went on to graduate from the University Of Akron School Of Law with honors (Magna Cum Laude) and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in December 2020. Brittany is a member of the Stark County Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.

When not working, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets, going to the movies for the latest releases, reading, and playing recreational volleyball.
