Adam Ares was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in the nearby suburb of West Chester. He attended The Ohio State University and graduated with honors (cum laude) with a degree in environmental science. Upon graduation from Ohio State, Adam attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, earning a master’s degree in biology. Adam returned to Cincinnati to attend law school at the University of Cincinnati.

While at law school, Adam mentored first year law students as a leader of a structured study group, which aimed to assist new law students with their transition into law school. Adam assisted with recruitment and provided tours to prospective law students and their guests. Adam served as an article editor on the University of Cincinnati Law Review and had articles published both online and in the print journal. Throughout his education, Adam has served in every level of government, both in a science and legal capacity. As an undergraduate, he worked for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency as a member of the surface water division. During law school, Adam worked at Greater Cincinnati Water Works and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia as a law clerk. Adam went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in December 2020. Adam is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, and Ohio State Bar Association.

When not working, Adam is an avid fan of Ohio State Buckeyes football, the Cincinnati Reds, and Columbus Blue Jackets. He enjoys hiking, travelling, cooking, collecting vinyl records, and watching old movies.
