Anthony Brown provides legal services to a broad range of clients. Anthony primarily focuses on trial and litigation, focusing on defense of injury and property damage claims, real estate, business and consumer matters. Anthony also handles business and real estate transactions, including business entity formation, and commercial and residential leases and sales. Being a former assistant prosecuting attorney, Anthony uses this experience in representing political subdivisions in civil litigation. Anthony has sat as first-chair trial counsel in over thirty jury trials. Anthony also provides estate planning services and represents clients in probate litigation. Professional/Civic Activities Anthony was born in Canton, Ohio on October 7, 1970. He is a 1989 graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School, and received his B.A. in history from Walsh University in 1995. Anthony received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1998, and served as an Associate Editor of the Law Review. During law school, Anthony was also a clerk for the Honorable Adele M. Riley in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Following law school, Anthony served as a staff attorney with the United States Department of the Treasury, Ohio District Counsel, representing the Internal Revenue Service. He also served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Stark County, Ohio from 2002 through 2003. Anthony received his admission to practice law in Ohio in 1998, and is admitted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the United States Tax Court. Anthony and his wife, Dona, live in Louisville, Ohio, with their four children.
