Jim Mathews handles a wide range of civil litigation matters, including cases involving contract and business claims, insurance coverage and bad faith issues, as well as political subdivision, construction, employment and administrative law. As part of his practice, Jim is active in land use and land development cases, which involve diverse issues such as zoning, annexation and eminent domain. In addition, Jim represents clients in general business transactions, such as business formation and transfers.
Professional/Civic Activities Jim is a member of the American, Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations, the Ohio Academy of Civil Trial Attorneys and Defense Research Institute.
Education Admitted in all Ohio State and Federal Courts, and the U. S. Supreme Court.
