Mel L. Lute, Jr. Mel's practice ranges from litigation and business formation/consultation and real estate law to national and international legal issues. He has represented a number of political subdivisions in litigation at both the state and federal court level. Mel continues to expand his practice to include representation of U.S. business concerns abroad, foreign concerns domestically, and immigration law.
Professional/Civic Activities Mel was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 6, 1965. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Miami University in 1987 where he attended on an Army National Guard scholarship. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Law in 1990 where he served as both competitor and editor on the Moot Court Board. Upon completion of his service, Mel received an honorable discharge from the United States Army National Guard in 1989 at the rank of Sergeant. He currently resides in North Canton, Ohio, with his wife, Dawn, their two sons, and a newborn baby girl.
